CBE Summit Presentation: Designing with Intention

4th Annual Competency-Based Education Summit | May 2025

Co-presented a strategy-driven session on aligning formative assessments to performance-level expectations. The presentation focused on scaling assessment clarity, facilitating instructional calibration, and building shared mental models for student outcomes.

This project demonstrates my ability to lead strategic instructional design conversations and develop scalable solutions that align learning outcomes with performance-level expectations.

Springdale Public Schools, DTSOI | August 2024

Designed and delivered an interactive session on assessment clarity and behavior-aligned scoring systems. Focused on simplifying instructional planning while increasing alignment between outcomes and daily practice. Provided embedded coaching for peer leaders.

Springdale Public Schools | June 2024

Co-led a district-wide workshop on designing clear learning goals and aligning them to performance scales. Focused on transparency, system-wide alignment, and teacher clarity using the Marzano framework.

Led LMS onboarding and implementation training focused on aligning assessment practices with platform workflows. Created a guided notetaking tool to support scalable and personalized application during onboarding.
